Looking to update window balances

Hello. A window balance of ours recently broke, and we'd like to learn what updated pieces could be used. The rod on this balance is about 29 and 1/4 inches long. On a plastic clip, it shows PAT# 5737.877. Any help on what to use in place of this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for posting. This old crossbow balance is no longer made, but it can be replaced with our Series 795 Channel Balance. The video below details how to do this. Take a look and see what you think.
