The plastic pulley at the top of the rod on my windows are failing. I had a friend 3d print some new parts, but they aren't as strong as the originals and are failing after a few months under the constant strain of the spring. Any help with finding a cost effective suitable replacement would be a big help.

Thanks for reaching out to us. This is a rod-style balance that isn't made anymore but we can still help. I recommend our Series 795 channel balance. The video below will walk you through the replacement process. This will work for you as long as the spring measures 1/2" in diameter. You should measure the size of yours just to be safe.
