Numbers on closer includes 20810 and 31538A.

However the piece marked 20810 does not appear to be 4 7/16" as your photo of 39-031 indicates.

Would 39-031 still work in this window?

I'm afraid I can't make out the size of your link arm from just a tape measure. Can you confirm the size? If it's 3-13/16", then our 39-155 may be a better option.

I tried the 39-155 but the short arm is 5/8" too short. Window will not close all the way and crank binds up while it's still open about 1".

The 39-031 should work. Short arm length is correct.
