A landlord from Boston, MA says:

#5.737.877 stamped on the plastic piece. Looks like rod balances aren't made anymore, and the 775 series may be the best replacement? However, trying to get the right measurement. The aluminum rod measures at 29.5". Should I be ordering a 29" or 30" model?

Hello! You're correct: while your old rod balance isn't made anymore, the Series 775 works perfectly well as a replacement. I've used it many times myself without issue.

As for length, we like to round down for these. A length of 29-1/2" would be our S775-29 .
