Merging from Spiral balance to coil balance inquiry

Question

All stuff arrived and all is working fine. I do have 2 other windows I would like to repair. However, these windows do have a completely other spring system with spiral springs. Please see attached pictures. You don't have replacements for these, do you? If not: I'd like to convert it to the coil balance system. However: windows are 17kgs each. That equals to 37.5 lbs. That basically means that I can't use your 15-180 shoes + double spring support as your heaviest spring for this shoe seems 9lbs. 4*9lbs = 36lbs is not enough to support my 37.5lbs window.

I'm open to a triple coil system or something else. Can you advise? Thank you in advance!

Thanks for reaching back out to us! We can certainly supply you with a direct replacement for these balances. It would not be advised to convert the hardware, especially given the weight of the sash.

The balances you have are a spiral balance made for tilt windows. To confirm which series you have, you'll need to remove the balances and confirm their diameter as well as the length of the tube (not including the plastic tip; you have either the 3/8" Series 900 or the 5/8" Series 600 (which is also considered 9/16" in the trade).

In the meantime, the pivot shoe you have here appears to be the 15-046 1/2" Thick Pivot Shoe. To confirm that this is the right replacement, carefully review and compare the dimensions below.
