Metal cam

Question

I'm looking for the left side and right side metal cam only that I can replace in the shoe.The shoe with is 2 1/2 × 2 1/4 I believe. Hopefully these pictures will identify what I'm looking for. Thanks

Thanks for posting! I'm sorry to say that we would not be able to supply you with the metal cam to replace the shoe. However, we can supply you with the replacement shoe and it's compatible hardware.

Your exact pivot shoe has been discontinued and is no longer available but the good news is that our 15-177 Pivot Shoe will work well as a replacement. Take a look over the dimensions below to confirm that this is the right replacement for your existing coil balance shoe.

If you do consider replacing them, these shoes are compatible with the 1/2" thick Series 152 coil balance springs. To determine the correct spring strength for a particular sash, you'll need to look for any stamps/markings on the metal coil(s) in the window.

If there are no stamps/markings or they are hard to read, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of your sash. Once you have the sash weight, you'll divide it by the number of coils in the window.
