Milgard - 18" Single Hung Non Tilt Channel Balance Replacement

A quick learner from California says:
Hello I need help identifying a replacement for my Milgard Single Hung Non Tilt Channel Balance.

18" channel lock.

No stamp but labeled with "17 9 EX CMC 7"

- 18" channel lock
- Channel width is 1/2 inch
- channel balance shoe is 1 and 1/16 inch, or 1 and 3/32 . it's hard to tell due to wear on the part
- channel balance top wings are 15/16 inch wide and 11/16 inch deep

This looks like either an S380-18 or S385-18. The only difference between these two balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. Your stamp code of 17-9 is from an older ratings system we do not use. To know what stamp option to select, obtain the exact weight of your window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each stamp option on the product page.
