Milgard casement operator

Question

My hand crank opens the window, but unable to close the window. Replace the hand crank only, but that did not work

Thanks for posting! It sounds like the gears on the inside of the operator are stripped, so you'll need to replace the entire assembly. Yours appears to be either the 39-253RB or 39-439B Encore Dual Arm Operators. The both use either the 39-376 (folding) or 39-452 cover kits. You'll find the opposite versions tagged below.

To determine which of these is the correct replacement, you'll need to compare the difference between the operators and the accessories they use.
