Millard single hung window balance faulty coil balance mechanism

Question

I need to replace faulty mechanism in two windows.  I took pictures of the parts and the type of window.  window dimensions are width 33" x height 51.75".  Can anyone help identify the parts I will need to repalce the entire coil balance mechanism?

Thanks for writing in! The shoe you have is the 15-191 Heavy Duty Pivot Shoe. This is typically used with the Series 160 Coil Balance. You can use the 15-150D to replace the support.

Its a bit difficult to make out the markings on the coils but I believe the one on the bottom to be marked with a 6. If so, you'll need the S160-06.

To determine the correct stamp for the top coil, you'll either need to check the other coils in the window or confirm the exact weight of the sash. Take a look at our video tutorial below for a detailed explanation.
