Missing locking mechanism on slider.

Quick Learner from Ocean Springs, Mississippi
I am missing the lever and locking mechanism on one of my sliding patio doors. The companion door is beat up a bit but still work. I cannot locate the locking mechanism anywhere. I have submitted the damaged as well as the working companion door for purpose of comparison.

Hello,

It looks like your handle set would use the 82-107 latch lever kit. Take a look at the specifications below. We also offer the 82-086 handle set if you'd prefer to replace the entire assembly.

As for your mortise lock, take a look and compare the specifications of the 82-265 to your assembly, which is used with the 82-249 keeper. Thank you!

I have 82-249, my mortise face plate (with double hooks) looks good, but the handle and locking system needs to be replaced. Not sure which handle system to order - need interior handle, exterior handle as well as the key lock. Are the universal and all operate the double hooking into the 82-249?

This has been tremendous! Feel like i have a fighting chance!!

If you'd like to replace the entire handle set, you would need the 82-086 that we mentioned. You would just need to confirm that the 3-15/16" hole spacing shown in the product image matches yours. This handle set is often used with the 82-265 mortise lock, so you should be good to go.
