We have a gap at the top and bottom of the sliding portion of our kitchen patio door that needs to be plugged. When we checked our basement sliding door it has pieces at the top and bottom of the door that our kitchen door is missing. We have flying black bugs that come in through the door in the kitchen in the spring, but none get through the door in our basement. The plug runs the width of that door section. I have attached four photos.

Do you have parts that would fill this need? If you don't, do you know at least what it would be called?

It sounds like you need new weatherstripping. We can help, but there's many different kinds as you can view here. The only way to narrow down what you need is to remove samples and measure out the end profile. See the video below.
