Missing piece of Pivot Shoe, 9/16" Thick Product Code: 15-129

A quick learner from Boston, MA says:
Hi - help! can't close my window without this part! First pic is complete Pivot shoe, second is pivot shoe missing plastic arrow that holds window in place

Can I buy this plastic arrow piece? Not sure how to take window apart. Pretty sure this is your 15-129. Would like to avoid buying jam spreaders - as I don't have cutouts in window tracks

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for posting! The 14-129 does look similar, but just make sure all the dimensions are the same before you make a decision. I'm afraid we don't sell that plastic arrow, which is known as a "tamper lock." It's meant to keep the pivot bar from popping out, but actually isn't necessary for most windows. Is your window exceptionally large? If not, I think you should be okay without it.

If you do not already have cut outs in your window and you do not wish to use our jamb spreaders, you will have to carefully cut a hole in the track. For the bottom sash, I recommend making your cut at the top of the jamb, so as to not interfere with the operation of the window.
