Mortise Lock for sliding patio door

Locking tongue is flopping in and out and does not catch the locking lip. I have used adjusting and screw and that does not solve problem. Is there a spring or cam that may be broken?

Thanks for writing in. I'm not quite sure what it is you're asking for: by locking tongue, do you mean the mortise lock, or the thumb lever it attaches to? Either way, your mortise lock resembles our 82-218. The thumb lever is our 82-106. Look these over and let me know what you think.
