Mortise latch lock for sliding glass patio door

Quick Learner from Goldsboro, North Carolina
I ordered a replacement lock on Amazon but they are slightly too large and not rounded on the ends to fit the opening in the pictures. Old latch/lock fell in the door when I was removing it. Google lens says my door is a Swisco. Home built around 1993, so that's about the time the door was bought and installed. Does anyone know the exact lock/latch that will fit this. about 3 and 1/8th inch tall and 1/2 wide but smaller around the corners because it's rounded on both ends. Difficult to find part. Thanks!

Thanks for your post! The mortise lock you'll need for the door is the 82-218. You'll need to measure the distance between the installation holes to confirm if this is the correct fit. Take a look at the video tutorial tagged below this thread for instructions on how to remove and install it.

The latch can be replaced with the 82-106 Sliding Door Turning Lever. It is available in white, black, and beige.
