Order 1848096 for 82-265 was received and it's not the correct part. See attached photos of my Mortise lock. My lock does not work because the top latch does not engage because small cylinder piece is missing.
Can I return the part I just received? Can you tell me the correct part number I'm looking for from the pictures?

I'm afraid I don't know if we have a better option for you. Looking at these photos, the 82-265 would be my top suggestion. You mentioned that it won't work because it lacks a small cylinder piece, but I don't know what that is. Can you go into more detail?
Looking at your photos and comparing it to our 82-265, I see no reason why it wouldn't work. I will need more information as to exactly why it didn't so that I can see if there is another option available to you.
