Motel Windows

Quick Learner from Maine
I work at an oceanfont motel, we have a number of windows that no longer stay open.  Myself and my maintenance manager are working our way through botched maintenance issues with windows being a large priority for guests looking to take in the ocean air.  We are looking at replacing the windows in the next couple of years, however our budget does not currently allow with other projects taking a larger priority.
We are both very handy and would greatly appreciate any assistance in locating replacement parts for the balancer systems I have done my best on images however most of the pivot shoes have been hammered into the window sill and "installed" photos are very limited.  these are double hung pivot windows with dual coils on the top and a single coil on the bottom.

Hello, thank you for posting,

The balances shown use a discontinued shoe that we recommend replacing with the 15-177 style. Compare the dimensions below to confirm a good fit!

This shoe is compatible with the Series 152 coil springs. This style is the same that was used with your original shoe. You will need to look for the number stamp on the original springs to confirm the correct weighted option. If there are no markings, we will need to know the weight of the window sash to move forward.

Also review the 15-143 bushing, 15-144 bushing cap and 15-145 barrel if new cover supports are needed. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
