My block and tackle balance has craced

The top part where the string goes through, of what I think is called a block and tackle rod balance has cracked, the string no longer stays in.  Pat # is 5.737.877. It appears the other side is cracking also. Where can I find the window series is 7030/series 78  F-R20-108x72, where can I find a replacement part? I may need 2.

This is an old rod-type balance. This style hasn't been made in a long time, unfortunately, but the good news is that we sell a modern channel style balance that can replace it with a little handiwork.

To start, measure the diameter of the spring. If it's 1/2" in diameter, you can install our Series 795 channel balance using the step by step video guide below.

If it's less than 1/2", the project gets a little more complicated. The Series 795 won't work, but let me know and we can find something better suited to this application.
