Napco Double Hung Window

Question

Hi,

I am sorry this picture isn't the greatest I am trying to get some info before my handyman comes.
The windows are 19 x 28 and the picture shows you to the broken counter balance.

It is at the base of the window track unlike your video on YouTube which shows it about mid height where the upper and lower window meets. It is broken on both sides, left and right and the window will not easily open or stay up.

I tried to uncoil the spring inside the window but I couldn't see any markings.

Is this enough information to go on to recommend replacement parts?

Hi, MaryAnne. Based on your photo and the size of the sash, I think you might have our 15-175 coil balance shoe and S152-6 coil spring. Check them out and see if they match. Also be sure to see our video on how to replace a coil balance.
