Need 2 window balances and a couple of latches : SWISCO.com

Hello,
I need two balances (and I think I read the number stamped into the balances as 28C8S1?)
and I also need 2 of the latches that let the window tilt out. Both latches need to be for the right side of the window (this part is broken on 2 different windows)

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. It looks like your balance is a match for the S795-28. However, it appears yours might use a hook like the 15-198 to install. Can you confirm? We'd also like you to confirm the width of the T-lock shoe which will require removing it from the window track.

As for the tilt latch, could we see photos of an undamaged version?

Here is a better picture of the hook at the top.
Also a couple of pictures of the left side tilt latch.
Unfortuneately, i can't get the T-lock shoe out of the window as there is no notch. I guess I need some of your track spreaders?

The 26-243 and 26-244 tilt latches resemble yours. Review the specifications and see if they match your repair needs.

You shouldn't need jamb spreaders to remove the shoe. You first need to tilt it in towards you to about 90 degrees, then twist it so that the ears can slip past the track opening.

If the T-lock shoe is the only part that is broken, you can just replace that but keep in mind that a broken shoe indicates that the balance isn't too far behind. For a new shoe, take a look at the 15-194 or 15-195 depending on the width.

If you wanted to replace the balances, it will have to be a custom order since yours uses the 15-198 for installation. Let me know if you'd like to go that route, and I can get the ball rolling.
