I opened a window a few days ago and one of the balances popped out. I'd like to order a replacement but am not 100% sure what to order. I have attached pictures of the balance. It measures 27" long and has a plain channel that is 9/16" wide. The numbers on the channel show 26-5 with a TA and BSIN to the right of the number. Can you please help me find the correct balance to order? Please let me know if you need any additional information from me to help me order the right part. Thanks.

Hello, and thanks for contacting SWISCO! I see you identified your balance as possibly being from our S770 Series. This certainly seems possible; however to confirm this we would need a little more information. As you can see from the product page, the S770-27 has a characteristic clip at the end of the cord at the bottom of the shoe. Could you take a picture of the clip at the end of the cord at the bottom of your balance to confirm it is the same?
Finally, the stamp of 26-5 corresponds with the 27E option under S770-27. To be sure, however, it may be best to weigh your window sash and match that exact weight with the weight ranges listed for each option in the product description.
Thanks for getting those pictures back to us. As it turns out, this is not from Series 770. I think our Series 795 might suit your needs. Check out the S795-27 and see what you think. Again, your stamp of 26-5 corresponds to the stamp option of 27E. However, you may want to weigh your window sash and compare that exact measurement to the weight ranges listed for each stamp option on the product page to be sure.
