Need Multi-Point Keeper

I purchased the MULTI-POINT MORTISE LOCK WITH FACE PLATE, 11", and need the keeper that goes on the door jam side. I purchased a 1/2" deep one but it is not deep enough. Which one would be best to use.

Hello,

The 82-249 keeper is what we recommend to work with the 82-265 mortise lock. I see you purchased a handle set and the mortise lock but see no record of you purchasing the 82-249 keeper. Is that the part that you tried and didn't work? If so, can we see a picture of your original keeper and hardware? Thank you!

On 12/9 I purchased the 82-249. I am including a picture of what was on the door jamb originally. The keeper we bought fits the lock ok, just not the jamb.Thank you for your help!

Oh wow, that is weird. It looks just like our 82-249 but way deeper.

I'm afraid this isn't something we'll be able to supply, but you should still be able to use our 82-249. If I were you, I'd try shimming it up so that it sticks out a little further, just like the original. Check with a local hardware store and see what they recommend. I'd personally use washers, or even screw spacers if you can find them. Not all hardware stores have them but they'd be perfect for this.
