Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-29 or S385-29, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

I have attached a pic of the "bottom shoe" for a closer look. Please review and advise which item may be able to work.

Thanks, Dru, this helps clear things up. It looks like your shoe is a match for our 15-029, which has a 7/8" depth. We can supply a balance with this part as the bottom fitting, but it will have to be a custom order since it's not a stock configuration.

I'm more than happy to set that up for you, if you'd like. I just need you to tell me how many you wanted to buy. You should also note that our balance would use the 2830 stamp option; this is the same as your old 28C, just a more modern iteration.

Once I know quantity, I can email you a purchase link and price quote that you can use to place an order on our site.

Alternatively, you can buy an S380-29 right now. This has a 1" deep shoe but you can shave off that extra 1/8" with a utility knife. It's not elegant but I've done it myself in a pinch and it works fine. Just note that products altered in this way cannot be returned for a refund. On the other hand, custom balances are non-refundable, as well.

The choice is yours! Just let me know how you want to proceed.
