Three inches top to bottom of three holes
Need replacement handles and locki mechanism plus keeper for door. Second hole from top seems to be the locking part.
Thanks for posting. Your mortise lock looks like our 82-260, which is compatible with our 82-249 keeper. Look the 82-249 over and see if this will fit in the space available in your door.
As for the handle, you have kind of a weird setup. Looks like someone lost the handle that originally came with the door, then installed a pull like our 88-002. All things considered, this was a pretty lazy fix. I'm surprised this even works with how your door functions.
The original hole spacing for your old handle was probably a lot smaller. In fact, I can see the bottom screw hole in your picture. It's that third, small screw hole beneath the two larger ones. I can't be 100% sure, but I'd wager that the original hole spacing was 3-15/16". If so, I recommend our 82-079. I think this will work well for your door.
