Need balance rods

A handy person from Aurora says:
Hi, I have an aluminum window here in Colorado. Home built in 1985. I was able to find the top sash guide on your website. 18-193. But the other parts are missing. This is the only single hung window in the condo. Can you help me order the correct channel balances and tops/shoes?

Thanks,,
George

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Based on your top sash guide, I think your window sashes may have used our Series 385 channel balance. This comes with the 19-005 top and 15-004 bottom. Unfortunately, this is more or less just an educated guess. We can't be 100% sure without having the originals to use as a reference.

Assuming for the moment that the Series 385 is the right balance, we now need to figure out the length of the metal channel and strength of the spring. I would like you to tell me the height of the visible glass in the sash being supported by these balances, as well as the weight of the sash itself. That will help us determine specifically what Series 385 balance you need.
