Need coil springs replacement

Hi there,
I have a window that can't stay open. I need help which replacement of this broken springs to fit in this 3/8 dual, and how many. It'll be great if you can send a link of video or instructions how to install them. Thanks!

Hello!

Thanks for reaching out to us. This looks like the 15-191 pivot shoe. The 1/2" wide Series 160 are the compatible springs. Can you measure the width of the old spring band and tell us what you get?

Thanks for the reply Emily. Please see picture attached, the width of the spring is 3/8".

Thank you for confirming! Since the spring is 3/8" wide and stamped with the number 4, I recommend the 3/8" S165-4 4-pound coil spring. You can reuse your old supports but see the 15-204 if you need new ones. I'll also post a few videos below that you may find helpful.

Thanks Emily. Quick question, do I need to buy 2 springs for each support right? Do you have any video how to connect the 2 springs on the support? Thanks again, Emily!

That's right, you'll want (2) springs for each support. As for connecting the springs, I recommend watching the video below starting at the 2:53 mark. It features a triple coil system and a different pivot shoe but the principle is essentially the same. I hope this helps!
