Hello,
I need to replace some of my window balances. Here's what I know:
the balance is 26" long and 1/2 inch wide. The writing on the balance is:
25 3 JQ (or JO) CALDWELL
the ends are winged.
I'm unsure how many I will need yet.

Thanks for your photos. Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-26 or S385-26, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

It looks like the S380-26 should be correct. I measured 1" on the bottom shoe.
What is the cost for one and I will need to go through my house to see how many I need. I also have different sized windows so I may come back to you with additional questions on sizing.

Sounds good, Martha. You can see a detailed price breakdown on the S380-26 store page. linked to above.
You may also want to note that these should be replaced in pairs. You never want to mix old and new balances.
