Need help to identify a window balance

It has .5 stamped on it. It fell and cracked so you see a whole in the side. It wasn't there originally.It's double hung window in the bathroom. It's about 10 to 15 years old. Thank you.

Thanks for posting. This looks like a 15-087 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 180 Coil Balance spring sold separately. That '5' stamp might indicate you need an S180-05 5 pound spring, but I'd weigh the sash to confirm. The video below explains.

Perfect, then the S180-05 5 pound spring, one for each side of the sash, makes perfect sense. That will give you 10 pounds of overall support, more than close enough to the sash weight you report. Let us know if you have further questions.
