We have been able to identify a variety of your hardware. Please visit our 26-089P til latch pair, 26-041 pivot bar, and 15-015 pivot shoe. Let us know if these could work as substitutes for your existing parts. Taking a closer look at your balance, I believe the tube is 3/8" tube diameter. Please confirm the measurement. If so, then our Series 900 spiral balance would be the replacement. We would just need to have you let us know the tube length.

I have removed one of the balances on one small window and one large window. It appears that you are correct in the 3/8 tube diameter. Both were 29 inches long and were covered by a plastic snap on piece that has started to deteriorate. This piece appears to be cosmetic?
are there any tutorials on repair of these type windows?
Thanks Ed

Hey, Ed. That piece sounds like a sash stop. We don't carry a sash stop for this window, but you only need one per window. Sometimes they're built with two. If that's the case, you could always poach one from another window.

We do have a video on how to replace this kind of balance, which you can see below.
