Need help with these two balance types.

Hello,

The top of the balance was not fastened to anything.There is a screw that is next to the balance to keep it in the channel but the screw only serves as a stop.
The pivot shoe the balance attaches to is the 15-105.

I will remeasure the 25" balance once more to make sure it isn't a 24, the marking on the balance is 2450, not sure if the first two digits are the length.

The 29" balance has a marking of 2830 C. It fastens the same was with a hook on the bottom and nothing on top.

Thanks for reaching out to us. This balance configuration isn't a stock part of our catalog but we can help via custom order. To outline it for you, we'd take the Series 770 and swap the default terminal clip for the 62-105 hook. The stamps printed on your old balances don't match up with the S770's options, however. Can you weigh each sash and tell us the weights?

We've never heard of a balance like this not using anything to mount to the top of the window though. If that were the case, the balance wouldn't be able to operate the window since it would be loose in the window track. Can you check an identical window in the house and confirm how it mounts to the top of the window? Custom orders are nonrefundable so we just want to be thorough.
