Need left and right balances for this window

This is a small vinyl single tilt window in a kitchen. It won't stay up. I don't

know much about these parts, but it appears it is a double coil balance system.

Is there a replacement part that will work?

Hey, Wes.

Take a look at our 15-199 pivot shoe, which uses the Series 160 and Series 165 coil springs. Compare our dimensions to yours and see if this matches what you need.

Thank you. Are there instructions included how the shoe and coils work?

What about the cover that screws down over the coils?

These parts do not include instructions, no. I will post a video below that you may find helpful. It's the same balance system as what you have here.

That said, if you've never installed this kind of setup before then you may want professional help. Speaking from experience, replacing coil balances isn't a job for beginners. It can be difficult depending on the window.

Concerning the covers, you should be able to reuse your originals. If not then the cover you want to use will depend on whether you pick the Series 160 or Series 165. We show compatible covers for each under "Related Item(s)" on their respective store pages.
