Need new crank mechanism

Quick Learner from Virginia
The crank on my window is not working properly. It will open but when trying to close it seems to pop and gets stuck. Can you tell from my photos what I need?

Thanks,
Irene

Hey, Irene. There are a couple possibilities. The first thing you should do is disconnect the operator and then try to open and close the window manually. This is to check to see if it still binds even without an operator installs. If you still have trouble, check the tracks and hinges to make sure there is no damage or debris that could be interfering. You may just need to clean the tracks!

If the window works fine with the operator removed, then the operator itself will likely need to be replaced. See our 39-315 for one possible replacement, but just make sure the dimensions are the same.
