Thanks for your submission, Jim. Before we proceed, we need a little more information from you. We would need to know the length of the balance as well any stampings or markings that may appear on the metal portion of the balance. Once we have all of that information, we can continue our search for you.

the length of the balance is 29 inches. 1/2 x 1/2 for the width. There are no stampings or markings on the balance. This balance is made for a tilt window. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the additional information. It appears you have the older type of tilt balance that used a a 62-105 hook. The photos you provided to us only show the back of the balance where you see the spring and pulleys. The stamped number of your balance should be located on the other exposed side of the balance. The first two numbers should read "28". We would need for you to provide us with the remaining numbers on the balance. If there should not be a stamped number on the balance, you would have to weigh your window sash and provide us with the weight of your window.

THE SASH WEIGHT IS BETWEEN 20 AND 21 LBS THERE ARE NO NUMBERS OR LETTERS.
