Need replacement balances for Window World (Alside?) windows

Hello, Jim! The serial number doesn't tell me anything about the balances, but the good news is that I can tell just looking at your pivot shoe that it matches our 15-177. The tell-tale clues are those diagonal "cuts" in the housing. The 15-177 is the only little dude I know who has those things.

You also mentioned buying jamb spreaders. That's totally up to you, of course, but I would advise you to reconsider. These are very expensive and we typically only recommend them for professionals who are looking to repair many, many windows over the course of one or several jobs. If you're just repairing a couple windows in your own house then you may want to consider making your own cutouts. The video below will go into more detail as to how that can be done. It's a little more work but it's a LOT less expensive.
