Need replacement channel balances

Hello,

I need to replace a no. of channel balances in my home. My home was built in 1997. I have removed the old balances from one window and would like to know if I can get replacements from you.

These balances are marked '29 2 LP Caldwell'. There are other windows of different sizes that most likely use different lengths of these balances. I'm hoping there is a series of these type that you can give me and I can order the different lengths as needed. I would like to know the cost range of this type of balance.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

David

Thanks for posting. I think we can help you replace these balances, but I'll need a little more information to be able to help you. First, we will need to see each particular type of balance you need to replace, removed from the window, with photos of the attachments at either end of the metal channel. The length of these metal channels, not including the end attachments, is also important for knowing the length of each kind of balance you require. Finally, the particular stamp code on each balance type is all necessary.

As far as cost range, this will depend chiefly on the type of balances you need. You can see our selection of channel balances here

Here are some pics of the balances. The metal channel on the one marked '29 2 LP' is 29 7/8" long. The one marked '29 3 KP'is 29 15/16" long. The edges of the meal channel is folded over along the length of the channel. The nylon end pieces on both types are the same. There is nothing stamped into the metal channel just the printed characters shown in the pic.

OK, thanks for these pictures. It looks like the bottom nylon 'shoe' attachment doesn't have wings like the nylon cap does, is that correct? If so, you'll want to see our S395-30 Channel Balance. The balance with a stamp of 29 2 conforms to our stamp option of 2920, for a window sash in the weight range of 12 through 16 lbs. The stamp of 29 3 conforms to our stamp option of 2930, for a window sash in the weight range of 16 through 23 lbs. Let us know if you have any questions.
