Two weeks ago, we noticed our lower sash would no longer stay up. Last week, the upper sash came crashing down. The window didn't break (fortunately!), but it looks like all 4 sash balances need to be replaced. The number I found on the balance tubes is 26F RA. The "F" I'm guessing is the spring weight--the window is 40" across, so pretty heavy. Not sure what the RA stands for.
Marvin has discontinued this window, and I haven't found a way to order replacement parts from them. Can you help?

We should be able to replace these.
For each balance, use our channel balance guide to compare your plastic attachments to our selection. You can determine which Series you need based on the top guide and the shoe attachment, but just be sure to observe the differences in shape – and compare the dimensions, to be sure.
Once you determine the Series, measure the metal channel from end to end. Without the attachments, it should measure 26" or 27", depending on the Series.
Then, determine your option. It's likely to be "2630" or "26F" depending on the Series, but you should check the weight of the sash against the chart on our site to tell what option your sash requires on the particular balance you end up choosing.
