Need springs and rods that go into them
Tony
Hi Tony, thank you for posting,
Your original balance resembles the 15-177 pivot shoe that is compatible with the Series 152 coil springs. Please compare the dimensions below to confirm a good fit!
The original coil springs should have a number stamped into the metal that indicates the weighted option needed to support the window sash. If there are no markings, we will need to know the weight of the window sash to move forward.
Also see the 15-143 coil bushing, 15-144 bushing cap and 15-145 support barrel.
For the pivot shoe, we will need to see a clearer image of the tip that engages with the shoe, but start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 26-226. 26-030 or 26-352 pivot bars. You will need to compare the dimensions to an undamaged version if possible.
Let me know if you have any questions!
If your original cover and support barrel are in good shape you can reuse. If not, you will need all three parts mentioned. The 15-145 barrel fits inside the coil springs while the 15-143 bushing and 15-144 cap snap into each other on either side of the coil to sandwich the coil. These parts would replace the original cover if damaged.
I am not sure if that is a 6 or 9 unfortunately. Can you confirm the weight of the window sash by placing it on a bathroom scale? Thank you!
