Need this balancer parts for my 13 year old simonton windows! Please help.

Hello there. I am confident we can help, but we'll need a little more information to get started. Can you remove the assembly from the window and show us the pivot shoe the springs attach to further down the jamb track? The identity of the pivot shoe narrows down the coil spring identity. Can you also tell us the thickness of the coil springs? It should be either 1/2" or 3/8". Finally, give me the exact weight of the window sash these coil springs support. 

I wouldn't worry too much about the travel at this stage. It rarely is an issue, in my experience. Once we narrow down your coil balances' identity though, we'll be able to verify that further. 

Thanks! This pivot shoe looks to be a match for our 15-111. This is also compatible with the 3/8" Series 165, so I believe this is the spring you need.

Depending on how much longer your travel length is compared to our part, you may need to install these lower in the track to compensate for the difference.

We unfortunately don't sell these as complete kits, no. These components are only available separately. 

If you need a new plastic cover, see our 15-204 dual spring support. This is designed to hold two springs but if you only have one per side then it should still work for you.

If there's no stamp printed on your original balance coil, then you will need to remove the sash from the window and weigh it on a scale. To be clear, the sash is the glass panel that you physically open and close. It's what the balances support at all times with constant force, so knowing its weight is an essential step in identifying the right balance replacement.

Most times your coil will have an easy to reference stamp that tells you how much weight they carry, but if not then weighing the sash on a scale is your only option. Once you have its weight, divide that by how many springs support it.
