This is keeping the window from staying up on its own. The window and copy of the part is attached.

Looks like you have the old Silverline 4000 Series window. The nylon pivot bar carrier looks like the 26-399 for the top sash. The pivot bar that is used with this is the 26-400. The bottom sash pivot bar would be the 26-330, which usually uses the 26-040 pivot bar. Compare dimensions to see what you think.
