Need to find replacement of this window balancer marked 32B CJ BSI BT

I believe balancer is what I only needed. Condition for white piece and metal piece that attached to the window is OK.

Looking at your video (https://www.swisco.com/videos/view131), I was looking to see your product - S795-32. My sash is 20lbs even. If I need to replace it, would I get 32B?

Hey there!

The Series 795 can't replace what you have here. You have a "skinny" ribbed balance that uses the 15-230 shoe. This isn't a balance configuration that we stock but we can still help via custom order. Can you confirm the number of balances you'd like to replace? We can draft a price quote from there.

Hello Emily,

I need two sets - which concludes to total qty to be 4.
Instead of using current configuration, what if I replace everything with S795-32 and Pivot Bar (26-021)?
If so, would Channel 32B option will work?

Thank you
Emily

No, I'm afraid the S795 still wouldn't work for you even if you replaced all the hardware. The problem is that your metal channel is considered "skinny" as it's 3/8" wide. The width of the channel for the Series 795 is 9/16" (considered 1/2" in the trade) which is too big for the window track.

With that said, I'll email you a purchase link and price quote for (4) 32" long and 3/8" wide ribbed balances with the 15-230 shoe and 32B stamp that you can use to place an order on our website.

Note that the 15-230 pivot shoe is compatible with the 26-448 pivot bar which is sold separately.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello Emily,

Thank you for the quick response.
Please see attached. I am not sure if I am measuring this correctly but please let me know your information about width of the channel is correct per the image.

If your information is correct, I would need to get what you quoted - (x4) S752-32 + (x4) 26-448 Pivot Bar? Would you also know the hole dimension of 26-448 is same as what I have?

Thank you

It's hard for us to get accurate dimensions from a photo of a tape measure. However, in our experience, the 15-230 shoe is commonly used with a 3/8" wide ribbed channel and 26-448 pivot bar. Your pivot bar is too obscured since it's still inside the pivot shoe in your initial batch of photos though. May we see a photo of it removed? You will ultimately have to compare our specifications with your old pivot bar to see if at least one of the installation hole placements matches up with one of yours.
