Need to replace 2 coil balance springs

They are from a 2003 MI Home/Xact window 35" w by 35 1/4" h. the broken coil springs are 1/2" wide. My guess is part number 740 S190 but wanted your opinion.

I took a closer look at the broken spring and it looks like there is a 6 stamped on it, so the part I need may be a S190-640, a 6 lb spring.

Hello,

It looks like you have an old-style version of the 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which uses Series 190 Coil Balances. You are correct that if your coil spring is stamped with 6, S190-640 would be the corresponding replacement. We also offer the 15-181 double support for these coil springs.
