Sash weighs 14.25#s old balance is 28.5" long. I will need blocks and sash pivots that work together. Channel at the widest part is the width of the current tilt block which is 1 1/4 inch. The piece that attaches the string at the top of the channel will have to be upgraded as well.

Hello, Scott. It looks like you have an old crossbow style balance. These are discontinued and no longer made, so we won't be able to supply you with an identical replacement for anything you show here. The good news is that you can use our modern Series 795 channel balance as an alternative, it just takes a fair bit of handiwork. I'll share a video below that will explain exactly how our hardware works and what you need to do to get it installed in your window.
One thing we don't mention in the video is that your old spring has to be 1/2" in diameter for this project to work. If yours is any smaller, let me know and we can look into alternatives. Also, speaking from personal experience, you should be prepared to drill new holes for the new style pivot bar the video suggests. It may not be a perfect fit as-is so readjustment will likely be necessary.
