Need window channel balance help

Need help determining what channel balance i need. The length is 29 inches measuring only the aluminum as described in your video. Just not sure of the end pieces. See the attached photos.

Check the depth of your USB side-load balance shoe. I believe it is 1". If so, use the S380-29 balance. The spring weight for "28C" is our "2830," for a sash weight between 16 and 23 lbs. If your shoe is not 1", let me know.

The depth is not quite 1". about 7/8". The other measurements are as your diagram shows. Is the 7/8" close enough?

I think that should be fine. It probably wore down a little over time and constant use. Even if it was originally 7/8", you can always shave the new shoe down a little if necessary.
