I have a GA 5500/4000/4200 SH series window and need the metal clip that goes on the side of the frame to keep the window from falling out when raised.
This is the additional information requested. I need the silver, metal clip that stops the window from raising too high. As you can see, without this clip, the spring slider keeps going and does not stop.
Hello! It looks like you're talking about the take-out clip. Please note, however, that the function of this clip is the exact opposite of what you described: the take out clip does not keep the sash from falling out when raised. Quite the opposite. These catch the balance on the way up, which then allows you to pull the sash out.
Yours appears to match our 16-002, which is a fairly common style. Look it over and see what you think.
