New Crank?

Hello-

We have truth window hardware (we think from the 1980s) and the small part that goes into the crank handle appears to be damaged so is no longer catching the gear properly to crank the window open. Is this a smaller part we can replace or do we need to replace the entire operator system? If so, what is best replacement.

Hello, thank you for posting,

It appears that the spline has stripped out of the operator. Unfortunately you will need to replace the full operator mechanism.

Please start by reviewing the 39-031 and 39-032 or the 39-155 and 39-156. The main difference between the two styles is the length of the short link arm. Compare the dimensions and orientation to confirm the best fit!
