New window balance shoes needed.

Unknown window make/model. Double hung, fixed top sash. Most likely, I need to replace the entire assembly (blue shoe, spring, and white plastic housing) The blue shoe's internal spring is weak, and the friction point on the shoe is worn. The balance assembly will not keep the moving sash in position. Would you be able to identify, locate, and replace both sides?
The overall length of each sides balance assembly is: 40 inches (102 centimeters).
Remaining windows in our house are American Craftsman, not sure if this one is also.
Please provide cost (each), and total amount with shipping.
Thank you.

Hello! We can help with the friction shoe, but I'm afraid we don't sell the spring itself. If you do need the spring, then you'll have to replace the jamb liner in its entirety. I recommend contacting the original manufacturer for that. If you can get away with ust the shoe, then see our 15-104. |
