No names or part numbers listed. Hoping to replace it.

If there is anything you can tell me about this handle, I would greatly appreciate it. I desperately need to replace it and nothing seems to work. This one is on another sliding glass door. I believe the doors were circa the 1960s?? The townhouse was built in 1967. One last thing, the locking latch goes into a cutout in the aluminum strip. There is no latch and there isn't a keyed locking mechanism in the aluminum door. I haven't found anything that works with this door, so I am really hoping you can help. Thank you for your time and advice.

This is a very, very old patio door. I don't think you'll find a good replacement for this handle set anywhere. Instead, you may want to consider a surface-mount set like our 82-005. This is nice because it has its own self-contained mortise that doesn't need to go inside the door, or interact with any mechanism in the door, in any way. It's kind of just its own self contained thing, allowing it to work on just about any kind of sliding patio door.

The downside to that of course is that you're probably going to have to drill new holes for it to install, but I don't think you were going to get away without doing a little handy work on this door. It's just too old.
