Non tilt window channel balance

Thanks for posting. To know what balance you have, we need to see the nylon attachments at either end of the balance. As far as the stamp goes, it states '26 9'. We do need this stamp code to determine the spring strength your balance needs; but 26 9 is from an older rating system we don't use. To know what stamp option you'll need, you'll have to weigh your window sash. We'll then be able to match that exact weight with the proper stamp option. Just let us know.

Thanks for getting back to me. This looks like a Series 350 Channel Balance. Confirm that the metal channel is 27" long, not including the nylon attachments. If so, see the S350-27. If you watch the video below, you'll see how you can remove your window sash during channel balance removal and replacement. A bathroom scale would be sufficient. I am afraid there is no other way to know what stamp option you need to select for this balance.
