Not sure what is needed anymore

The key stopped working to open the lock. I had my brother look at it now the entire thing seems broken. There is no information on the lock so I don't know which one to get, please help!

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! It sounds like there is an issue with the internal mortise lock. To determine if there is a replacement we can supply you with, I'll need to see the lock removed from the door. I cannot make any guarantees but I am happy to review the hardware to confirm.

The length of the white piece is 9.5 inches long.

Thanks for the photos. I'm sorry to say that we would not be able to supply you with a replacement for the mortise lock you have here. The closest match we have to your mortise lock is our 82-259, however I do not believe it would be compatible with your handle set and it has 9-7/8" installation hole centers.

I do apologize that we cannot supply you with a replacement for your existing hardware.
