Novatech "Discretion" Sliding Door Handle

Quick Learner from Milford, Delaware
I am trying to determine what new Keyed Handle Set I need to replace my daughters slider lock and handle. The door has very little info that I can find other than on the between glass blinds operating knob, it indicates Novatech "Discretion". Someone has clearly changed the handle set to a non-locking unit that doesn't go with the door. The mortise lock and the Keeper on the jamb seem to offer some clues but no printing. The marks on the door where the original handle sat provide some clue. Beyond those, I'm not sure what to order. I attached pictures and hope you can help. Thanks you!

Hello,

The mortise lock and keeper shown in your photos resemble our 82-265 and 82-249 replacements. These parts are used with a few different handle sets with 3-15/16" hole spacing. I would generally recommend the 82-030 handle set, which is a newer style replacement for the handle set shown in your photos and is compatible with the 82-310 key lock that is sold separately.

With that being said, you mentioned that this is not the original assembly and I do see an outline around the backplate showing where the original hardware was. We can't be sure without seeing the original but it's possible that the door may have used something like the 82-086, which is also compatible with the 82-265 mortise. You would need to confirm that the offset thumb latch would align with the spindle insert in your mortise lock since it is not adjustable. This stipulation is one of the main reasons that we prefer the 82-030 in cases like this. Take a look at the related options to see which would be the best option for your repair.

Thank you so much for all of that help. I ordered her the 82-030 and 82-310, as well as the mortise and keeper sets. That was a huge help and is much appreciated!
