Nuprime window hardware replacement

Hello,

The cylinder broke off of my Nuprime window hardware and I'm hoping to find a suitable replacement. The base plate is 2-1/8" x 4-7/8" and the arm lengths are 3-1/2" and 8".

The color is beige. Can you provide me a suitable replacement for this?

Hello, Jed. We don't sell anything in this style with a 3-1/2" long short arm. The closest parts we have are our 39-155 and 39-156, but these have a short arm measuring 3-15/16". You may want to triple check that dimension just to be 100% sure.

Thanks for the info Tom. Just to make sure I'm measuring it correctly, can you point out where I should be measuring from to determine the length of BOTH arms? If it's simply end to end it will be longer than my initial measurements.

You want to measure end to end for the short arm. For the long arm, you want to measure from the center of he wheel to the center hole of the base. The diagram below will show you what I mean.

Hello,
I inquired about this a few months ago but got sidetracked.

I have a NuPrime operator that had the handle strip off. Could you tell me what parts of this I need to measure to figure out the right replacement part?

Would it be beneficial to remove the existing operator to help match it up? If so, do you have directions for how to do that? I don't want to make it worse than it already is.

Hello,

Tom is out today but I'd be happy to help you. Have you seen the diagram that Tom sent you back in March above? Those are the dimensions you'll need to compare to make sure that the 39-155 and 39-156 Caradco operators will work for you. Also, note that these operators use either the standard 39-114L or 39-205 folding handle.

Hi,

Thank for sending that diagram, that was very helpful. Based on that the measurements are the following:

Short arm: 4-3/8"
Long arm: 10-9/16"

Based on those much more accurate measurements what would to recommend?

Also, is there any play with the distances if the long arm is off by 1/16" or so?

Hello! The best match we have for these dimensions is our 39-031. You can see in the diagram below that the long arm is 10-3/4" and the short arm is 4-7/16".

I feel very confident that this will work for you, but you may want to triple check your dimensions just to be safe.
